casi 25

Things have been good lately. I had a week back at school after finishing physical therapy, which didn´t actually help my ankle but oh well, and a week doing some work in the capital. Tuesday is my birthday... 25! Crazy. After I celebrate that I´m heading to a Red Cross seminar for a few days to learn about giving charlas on HIV/AIDS, sexual health, domestic violence as well as first aid stuff. I´m looking forward to that. I want to do some domestic violence and alcoholism charlas in my community and hopefully I´m going to be working on a project with another volunteer to visit secondary schools in larger towns to do sex ed classes. Then in July... so soon!... I get to go home and see my family!!! I´m so excited. I miss everyone. I´ve been looking forward to this for months now and now that´s it´s so close I can hardly contain myself. :) I´ll return in mid-July for two weeks and then I fly to Ecuador to visit a friend from college who is a PCV there. She started only a month after me. I am also really looking forward to that trip. So yay! Things are going well and I can´t believe time is just flying by! Hugs to all! :)

I'm such a spaz! I forgot to wish both you and Steve-O a happy birthday... whoopsie! Congratulations on making it to a quarter century... and look how much you've accomplished!!! Something to be proud of! I know this isn't a good place to have a convo, but I remember when we talked all those years ago, your intentions were nature photography... have you touched in on the artistic side of that at all? (I really need to be friends with you on facebook/and or use that application so i can see your pics!) Anyhoo, keep up the good work! I love reading your adventures!
