Boooo

So I was supposed to go to a conference tomorrow that would last through the weekend. I had permission. But I just got called today and it turns out my boss´s boss has taken away that permission. So now I can´t go. Bah. There´s a rule that states that new volunteers are not allowed to go to conferences in their first three months as that time is supposed to be spent in the site as much as possible to build relationships and get to know the community. Which makes sense. But it´s not like we´re just going to any and all conferences to get out of site, this really had a legitimate purpose. And we also knew this rule beforehand, that´s why we made sure to get permission first. But hey, I guess things change. Misunderstandings occur. So back to my site I go. No biggie, I´ll just wait till after November to attend such chances to learn.
Meanwhile, I realized that I have been severely lacking in the picture posting lately. Sorry about that. This is mostly because I upload pictures to Facebook first because it´s faster, and by the time I go anywhere else I don´t have the patience to upload photos for a second time. But, I can post the links to the pictures for those not on Facebook! So yes, that´s what I´m doing. Here are many pictures of my time here in Panamá. Enjoy! :)
